Well my friends, off an running again. Life has been rough, more catching up to do. I just LOSE track of time. I have been busy with finding my way... creating a space that I love to live in, and quilty adventures. These past several years everyone who is close knows I have been realizing one of my retirement dreams of quilting.
One of the first things I did was take a class at the local quilt shop. Loved Thimbles and miss it so much. Cindy and Lewis (sp) Webb and family are the absolute best. Miss having a store close... so I suck it up, fill the gas tank and drive an extra 30 ish miles. New kids and town and Mama Bears Quilt Show is top drawer!
I learned to quilt at a young age but had NEVER quilted from an actual pattern! Thanks to my very, VERY patient instructor Jan who got me on the right track.
I will be trying to post more content, but this was a by far a favorite experience. This is the quilt "Interlocking Chains" from the book "New Ways With Jelly Rolls" Thanks to Jan Keough for making my 1st class at a quilt store memorable.
Shown here on display at the Strawberry Mountain Quilt Guild Show last year in John Day!
